This
tool was created by a lineman for linemen.
After
40 years of lineman experience, local lineman, Lennoth
Greenwood, was
tired of wasting time and being frustrated trying to
start nuts and washers with Heavy KV Gloves on.
Lennoth came to us, Macon Precision Machining,
with an idea.
From that idea the Hi-Volt EZ-Started was
designed and manufactured in our shop.
This
tool has been used hundreds of times on both energized
and grounded dead lines as well.
It can be attached to a fiberglass hotstick when
voltages exceed gloving limits.
Safer, Less Stressful and Time Efficient which
leads to a cost
savings.
